  3. Sir, some title of lectures have a little difference from my notes such as

lec 6: your schedule will be Sercurities, but in mine : Investing in a company.
Lec 7. yours:Investment in equities; in mine : Members' right.
Lec 8. yours: Investments in real estate,in mine: Funding company operations.
Lec 9: Yours : Structures of holding investments; in mine: management positions.

Does this mean anything about the difference of titles ? Or is my note wrong ?

  5. Hi Teacher, full time econ student. I hope you can upload the missing slides as another part and don't re-collate all the slides. I believe many students have already print and bind all the chapter together. Anw thanks for sharing us with the interesting cases. Lastly Would like to know when the assignment will be upload to the blackboard?

  6. Teacher! Would like to know if it is possible for you to post an example of the ans in the tutorial? Perhaps one will do. It is beneficial to us so that we can know how we shd draft out the answer to get good grades?

  7. Hi SK,

Instead of having to copy and paste the lecture contents onto the blogsite, you might want to consider and alternative where you can upload documents as a whole onto Google Sites.

Hope you find this useful ! (:

  9. Hi SK , i had some trouble comprehending Question 2 of our assignment. Seeking for your expertise , these are the following questions which i'm in doubt :

    1) Do we view the question retrospectively , or currently?
i.e. Since the proposed law in the assignment is based on last year , does discussion of current law includes those proposed law? If so , than we do have to talk about new bills?

    2) Does "best practice for the Financial Advisory Industry" meant giving our own input , or are we talking about current practices and regulations in the financial advisory industry against the proposed ones?

3)Question 2 , second paragraph "MAS announced that it would proceed to implement ..." Do we need to discuss this paragraph in regards to current laws, proposed laws and best practice?

Thanks in advance :). had problem understanding the question chronologically...

Sincerely, student from law of investment class.

  11. Hello Mr Yeo, I'm from your Law of investment class.Have a couple of queries regarding the assignment Part A. 1)Is it possible that APFM Co. is a licensed financial company but Sam who works for them is not Licensed? Meaning he is not licensed to carry out investment transactions?

2)Can we assume that the 3 documents given to Paula from Sam are the FSG,SOA and PDS?
